The way home isn’t always a straight line. Sometimes we need the longer route... the quiet one that gives us time to breathe and notice what the hurry would have hidden. I wanted the light on the water to feel like a path through the dark, winding toward the last warm colors of day.
This painting is a reminder that the long way can still bring us home. And sometimes, while we’re finding our way back to what matters, the journey itself gives us exactly the space we needed.
