Inspired by Joy Oladokun’s “Sunday,” this piece holds the exhaustion of carrying who everyone else needs you to be while quietly admitting that you’re struggling. It reaches for a moment of release... not a perfect answer, but somewhere to set the weight down. Gold tracing the clouds is symbolism for that small gift of tenderness: it doesn’t erase the heaviness, but it helps you see its edges.
