Even Anxious Pups Need the Moon

Inpsired buy Noah Kahan's song Orbiter, this painting serves as a visual manifestation of quietness and sitting with the weight of human anxiety. Down on the horizon line, the dark, silhouetted treeline stands like a pack of wolves hunkered down in the dark, watching the world in absolute silence. The vast terrain feels both profoundly lonely but peaceful... as if the anxiety is being handed off to the moon. It radiates a hazy, comforting light through the dark clouds, serving as a quiet anchor in a mysterious sky. The painting captures that exact breakthrough moment in Noah Kahan's lyrics: no matter how dark the night gets, how far you feel from home, or how restless your spirit is, there is a gentle, steady presence watching over you. It is a stark, beautifully bittersweet reminder that even in our deepest, most anxious moments, there is always a little light to guide us to what's next.
